Charlton Park Farm: Thriving in Harmony

Charlton Park Estate Farm, is a testament to our commitment to maximising land potential while prioritising conservation and soil health. From diverse landscapes supporting soay sheep to arable cropping, grassland, and woodlands, our conservation efforts unfold as a series of carefully planned initiatives over the years. The spans an impressive 1,454 hectares, integrating arable cropping, grassland, and environmental landscapes. Our mission is to optimise land use while enhancing environmental sustainability and soil health.

Our farm employs diverse agricultural methods bringing growth, ingenuity and experience to market:

  • Arable Cropping: 1,200 hectares of predominantly grade 3 land with varied soil types, including gault clay, oolitic limestone, and cornbrash. We utilize minimum tillage and direct drilling to reduce costs and improve crop establishment.
  • Grain Storage: We boast a substantial grain storage facility with a 40-tonne-per- hour dryer, a grain dresser, and over 5,500 tonnes of storage capacity. This enables us to store, clean, and dry both our own and third-party grain.
