The combination of woodland and rolling terrain throughout the Estate is well-suited for both game shooting and clay pigeon shooting. At the Charlton Park Shoot, you'll discover over 20 drives that offer a diverse range of birds, presenting some exhilarating and challenging shots.
A typical day at the shoot kicks off at 9 am in a local pub for coffee, followed by approximately three drives and a brief break. The day unfolds with three or four additional drives, concluding back at the pub for a late lunch. The primary shoot days feature 200 birds initially, gradually scaling down to 125 bird days as the season progresses. While standard drives involve eight guns, we are flexible and can accommodate smaller groups based on your preferences, even arranging for smaller bird days upon request.
